We are excited to share this preliminary information about the upcoming Spring ACBO Conference!
Spring Conference Opening Act!
The opening general session on Monday, May 24th will feature comedian Andrew Woodhull.
Andy has appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Conan, Live at Gotham and The Half Hour on Comedy Central. In 2014, he was the first comedian to make his network television debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. His Dry Bar comedy special on YouTube has over 9 million views. All five of his comedy albums are in rotation on Sirius Satellite Radio, and his jokes have played over 40 million times on Pandora. Most recently, Andy worked as a writer on SYFY’s The Movie Show, and was featured in two episodes.
Our morning will continue with a very special treat – A Visit with Incoming California Community Colleges Chancellor Sonya Christian!
SONYA CHRISTIAN, Incoming Chancellor, California Community Colleges Throughout her career Dr. Christian has been committed to advancing work through distributed leadership and collaborative communities of learning, and to promoting the value of equity in student learning, access, success and economic mobility. The alignment of distributed forces stems from shared ownership that is almost always more fundamental than the details of the solution, not least because it builds a sense of community that creates long-term sustainability.

Dates/Location: May 22-24, 2023 (conference activities generally run from 9am on Monday through noon on Wednesday)

Airport: We encourage you to fly in and out of Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO).
Ground Transportation: We encourage car rental.
Parking: We have negotiated complimentary self-parking and $30 valet parking.
Registration: Online registration is now closed. Onsite registration will be available at $635.
CANCELLATION POLICY
All attendee registration cancellations are subject to a $75 processing fee. Cancellation requests must be emailed to admin@acbo.org by May 11th, 2023. No refunds will be given after May 11th, 2023.
