Propose a Session
ACBO invites you to propose a session for the 2026 Fall Conference.
Please submit your proposal by or before August 31, 2026 for consideration.
Conference sessions (content portion) will range from 50 to 80 minutes -- included Q&A -- in length depending on the needs of the schedule and may be either general or breakout sessions.
Acceptance letters will be sent mid-September to the session coordinator/lead presenter.
ACBO is seeking engaging, practical, and forward-thinking sessions that provide attendees with actionable strategies they can immediately apply on their campuses. We encourage proposals that address the evolving responsibilities of California Community College business officers while supporting professionals at every stage of their careers—from emerging leaders to experienced executives preparing the next generation.
When developing your proposal, consider how your session aligns with one or more of the following conference focus areas:

General / Other
If you’re a vendor solicited directly by ACBO we want you, in partnership with one of your college clients (it is required that college representatives co-present with vendors), to share your knowledge and expertise by demonstrating successful partnerships, collaboration and innovative new products and technology that have resulted in real cost-saving solutions to campus challenges. All presentations should be designed to address the criteria of the above listed strands.
If you are interested in just sharing a topic idea but will not be presenting at the conference, you can still fill out the proposal form and share your ideas.
