Dr. Arthur Benjamin is the Smallwood Family Professor of Mathematics at Harvey Mudd College and the Visiting Professor for Public Outreach at the National Museum of Mathematics. He has been repeatedly honored by the Mathematical Association of America for his teaching and writing, and was selected by Princeton Review as one of The Best 300 Professors in America. He is also a professional magician and one of the world's fastest mental calculators. He is also a grandmaster in backgammon and is in the American Backgammon Hall of Fame.

Dr. Benjamin has given 3 TED talks which have been viewed over 50 million times. He has demonstrated and explained his calculating talents to audiences all over the world and has appeared on numerous television programs, including The Today Show, CNN, and The Colbert Report. He has been featured in Scientific American, Omni, Discover, People, Esquire, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and Reader's Digest. In 2026, he starred in a one-man off-Broadway show, called That Math Show. Reader's Digest calls him "America's Best Math Whiz."

Regular Rate $675 (8/11 to 10/16)

On-Site: $720 (10/17 and beyond)

Cancellation Policy:

All cancellations will be subjected to a $100 processing/administrative fee. Substitutions may be made at no additional charge.

Any cancellations received after October 16th will be non-refundable.

Group Room Rate:
The $259 rate includes the base group room rate of $239 plus a mandatory but discounted $20 resort fee per night. With taxes and fees added, the total inclusive cost per night is just under $298 includes guest room Wi-Fi plus a variety of other resort services and amenities

Hotel Reservation Cut-off Date: 10/5/2026

The group rate could sell out at any time, so we encourage early reservations. Assuming availability, the last day to book at the discounted rate is Monday, October 5th by 5:00 p.m.
